Frequently asked questions
Does my customer need an app?
No. Tapping uses the NFC reader built into most smartphones, and scanning works with the regular camera app. Your customer doesn't need to install anything.
Does it work on every phone?
Tapping works straight away on almost all recent iPhones and Android phones. On Android, NFC needs to be switched on, which it usually is by default. If tapping doesn't work, for example on an older phone, your customer can simply scan the QR code on the table stand.
What if my Google page or my links change?
Just let us know and we'll update the destination remotely. Your product stays where it is and works immediately with the new link.
Can I make sure only happy customers write a review?
No, and that's not the idea either. Google doesn't allow asking only for positive reviews or keeping negative ones out. Revu makes it equally easy for every customer to leave an honest review. Happy customers often simply forget; Revu removes that hurdle.
Can I reward customers for a review?
No. Discounts, gifts or competitions in exchange for a review are against Google's rules. Just ask kindly, at the right moment, and let Revu make the rest easy.
Do I need to set anything up myself?
No. We look up your Google profile, link everything and test it in advance. All you do is give the product a good spot.
